Yesterday, Barcelona. Today, Madrid: in November 1957 Masats arrived with his photographs and a story on the Sanfermines, rented a room whose bathroom became his darkroom at night, and began working for La Gaceta Ilustrada, which sent him again and again to the south — and, in between, to the stars passing through the city.
