Alta is a fine art photography gallery for collectors around the world, founded in 2021 by Pancho Saula and Michelle Ferrara.
From the start, we chose not to be a white cube. We believe photography is best seen slowly and in person, one on one, so every visit is by appointment and we receive each visitor ourselves.
We focus on classic, vintage and contemporary photography: the American modernist masters, the New York School, fashion, Spanish documentary photography, contemporary African artists and conceptual work.
We show only what we love, and we choose each work with the same care, whether it hangs in an exhibition or goes into a collection.
Whether you are buying your first photograph or building a collection, privately or for an institution, we are here to guide you, and to help you acquire or sell exceptional works.
Alta is a place where photography’s past, present and future meet.
Only a selection of our works is shown online.
Availability subject to change without notice.
