"Love From Afar" is the first exhibition in Latin America of the American photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber. It opens on 6 November 2026 at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo of the Universidad de Chile and is on view from 7 November 2026 to 24 January 2027, across the entire ground floor of the museum's Parque Forestal building in Santiago.
The exhibition takes as its starting point Weber's archive and "My Education", the monograph recently published by TASCHEN.
Weber's photographs, films and advertising campaigns, for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Versace and Abercrombie & Fitch among others, shaped the visual culture of the 1980s and 1990s. His sitters range from Kate Moss, Madonna and David Bowie to Elizabeth Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joan Didion, Pedro Almodóvar, Nelson Mandela and Louise Bourgeois.
